Haven't been on here in a moment.. Wow. LIFE though! What can I say? New house.. New town.. New job.. School.. Kids.. Keepin' me busy. Anyway, this isn't really house stuff or even idea stuff but rather a list of shit I'm getting/have got for the kids for Christmas so I can see it all laid out in something other than my credit card statements..
For Drake..
..And then I'm painting his room to match his new bedding set. And I've bought some faux silk cobalt blue curtains to hang under his bunkbed - where I'm going to put that beanbag and lava lamp so he can have a cool little hangout. He's also getting a lot of little manipulatives for his stocking, like therapy putty, stress balls, stretchy toys etc.
For Tatum..
And then both girls are getting new pink hibiscus/dottie print bedding for their new luau room from pottery barn
and I'm going to get some odds and ends for that (same idea with Drake's bunkbed) and put up some rope light around their bed rails and border the ceiling with raffia.
For Storry..
And then they get little stocking stuffers like glitter crayons, lalaloopsy coloring books, a new book each, cheapy dvds from walmart (like hello kitty and strawberry shortcake).
I managed to save a few bucks with cyber monday (my biggest save was Drake's bedding and solar system which I saved a total of $50 on - and then all the girls dress up clothes I got for $150 (with shoes)) - but overall, I didn't feel I got super great deals or anything. Maybe it's just the regularity of the stuff I chose *kanye shrug*
